Multiple Intelligences: Special Interest Group of AERA
The MI-SIG was founded by Branton Shearer in 1999 as a Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association. Membership is open to both non-members as well as members of the association. The SIG organizes a yearly program of presentations on MI-related research at the association's annual conference. It also publishes a quarterly newsletter and maintains an MI-related research database of master's and doctoral theses.
