ONLINE MIDAS SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet.  Open a browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, or Firefox. The OMS system may not function properly on computers with strong security systems such as public internet cafes or in some schools.

 

  1. DISABLE YOUR SPAM / JUNK email filter if you have one (this important to do!).

 

  1. Go to the following link: http://www.MIResearch.org/assessments

 

  1. Click on the button:  “Login to take M.I.D.A.S. Assessment”

 

  1. Enter  Login, password, and Org Code exactly as provided, (case sensitive!): “Submit”:

Login  =                    ____

Password=    password     

Org Code=                       

 

 

  1. It will first ask for information about you (Name, education, email).  Be sure to carefully enter an accurate email address where the profile will be sent (very important!). Respond to each question thoughtfully.  You cannot skip questions, but you may answer: "I don't know."

 

7.  The questionnaire will take about 20 minutes to complete. It will stop at the end of each

section so you may correct any of your responses.

 

If you must stop before completing, you may login again later. You will have to start from the beginning using the same login codes. Once you have responded to all questions you can no longer login using those codes.

 

The web is inherently unstable so you may need to be patient and persistent.

 

      8. When finished, the program will automatically email the Profile to the email address that

          you provided (usually within a few minutes).

 

9. The MIDAS Profile is emailed as a .PDF document with a Brief Interpretative Packet.

 

    Follow those instructions to maximize the benefit that you will receive from a MIDAS Profile.

 

    It is important to verify your Profile for yourself!
